My Mission

I engage directly with homeless people on the streets every day to understand the problems inherent in homelessness and stigmatized mental health realities. My mission is to find solutions to these social disparities by networking, fundraising, and advocating for these vulnerable members of our society. Whether your world view comes from science or religion, we can all contribute our talent, experiences, and knowledge towards remediating the struggle of the marginalized and unhoused.

To show love; to be loved; to be the solution to someones problem; to unite; to inspire; to represent; to fight for; to empower homeless women and children; to unbeatdown; to have an impact; to unabuse; to make something positive; to help people to nurture each other; to help people heal. Whoever you are, I need you. I need you to help me make a difference. We need to help people let go of their past and to help people to reach their ultimate potential.

MAIN GOAL AND MISSION

To have Boise’s First Tiny Home Eco-Community.

I knew that if I allowed fear to overtake me, my journey was doomed. Fear, to a great extent, is born of a story we tell ourselves, and so I chose to tell myself a different story from the one women are told. I decided I was safe. I was strong. I was brave. Nothing could vanquish me.

We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked, and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved, and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty.
